Garment Embroidery Techniques

3D printing, or more commonly known as 3D embroidery, is a popular new embroidery method. It allows specific designs to be printed on garments that look more realistic and surreal than normal embroidery. Mainly used in hats and jackets to create eye-catching bold design elements.

A basic, simple stitch used to outline the edges of a design or to make simple patterns. Often used with other stitches, this stitch is also used to make some small but attractive features.

Custom embroidered patches are quick and easy to sew, with good results, and will not be sewn directly onto the fabric. It can be fixed to the garment by sewing, ironing or other means. Patches are usually rigid in construction and are used in uniforms, sweatshirts, or casual wear

The use of wool yarn to form a soft, raised, plush fabric commonly found in varsity jackets and other eye-catching designs.

This stitch consists of a series of connected stitches that form small loops to form a hanging pattern of repeated designs. It adds vintage design elements and has a hand-sewn look.
